Thanks for giving us a good laugh this morning! We remember those first days and weeks in ministry after seminary…you come to learn that people usually don’t care how much you know, they just want to know how much you care (ie., they need someone that will listen to them and who will show them how to walk this
“I am not perfect, just forgiven” life….and who will take the time to actually pray with and for them.)
As Alex used to say to my husband when he was writing his sermons..”Keep it simple!”😊
