A Complete List Of Deep Theological Truths From The Left Behind Series

The new Left Behind trailer was released last week as well as the first movie poster. A couple of quick thoughts:

1)   I’m as excited for the release of this movie as I was to get my wisdom teeth removed.

2)   Does anyone else get the feeling when looking at this poster that they’re being stared down by a group of confused WWE wrestlers?

Left behind 2014

Seeing as there is a lot of hype about this movie, I figured it’d be worth my time to explore some of the deep theological truths portrayed throughout the series. I confess, in advance, that I didn’t make it through reading all of the books. After getting about halfway, I was distracted by the equally attractive lure of Stephanie Meyer’s new novel from which I haven’t returned. It’s understandable.

Nonetheless, I did manage to compile a fairly comprehensive list. Please feel free to draw on it and use it in any future studies on this movie as well as for enriching yourself with the array of biblical truth present within these books and films.

Here ya go!

  1. BREAKING NEWS: The longtime No. 1 pretrib rapture teacher, Dr. John Walvoord of Dallas Seminary, believed that the “Left Behind” books and movies have a NON-BIBLICAL foundation! If you doubt this, Google “The ‘Left Behind’ Rupture” which was aired on Joe Ortiz’s “The End Times Passover” blog on August 12, 2014. (For more shocks Google “Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty,” “Pretrib Rapture Pride,” and “Pretrib Rapture Stealth.”)
